General Points:
After play today (Saturday 28 August 2010) the following was agreed by a majority show of hands:
1. The Winter Prize Subscription, Thursday and Saturday, will remain at €10 per head for those who wish to particpate.
2. Winter Tee Times for both Thursday and Saturday will be first Tee 09:30. Meet at the Los Lagos Casa at 09:00.
STABLEFORD SCORE CARDS
Following recent problems with Stableford Score Cards being handed in after play with incorrect scores, from now onwards any score card which claimes to have more points than the true score will incur Disqualification.
End of Summer Championship Day
The Society End of Summer Championship Day and Buffet Supper will be held on Saturday 16th October 2010. Final details willbe out shortly.
SATURDAY FEES and LUCKY TICKET - CHANGES
At a show of hands following play on Saturday 17th April 2010, it was agreed that the Saturday Fee will increase from €7 to €10 with immediate effect. This fee is optional.
The Lucky Tickets will now be sold on an Buy 1 get 1 free basis.
SUMMER PLAY - B AND C - THURSDAYS
Due to lack of interest the programm to play B and C is cancelled.
HOLE IN ONE FUNDS
Following a Committee Meeting held on Sunday 6th December 2009, it has been decided to change the way we pay out for anyone who achieves a Hole In One.
We currently have 1 Hole In One fund running for Saturdays, it has 300€ in it. Only a Paid up Member may claim this. Payment will be subject to the Captain of The Day'sdecision.
To keep the cost of play down a little we will no longer require a 1€ subscription on either Thursday or Saturday towards Hole In One funds. The existing fund will remain as it is until claimed, thereafter, any Paid Up Member (not Junior) will be paid 100€ which will come from the General Fund for a Hole in One scored during an official Rabbits Society Competition. Please note, the Captain of the Day decides if a competition is classed as qualifying.
